The Service Provided
You are guaranteed a personal, committed, quality driven, and very cost efficient service.
Weddings
Whether you are looking for a 'Reportage' touch or the timeless classic 'Formal' approach, or a modern combination of both, you can rest assured that the capturing of your Photographs has been an expertly prepared affair, carried out professionally and deftly.
You commission me for the whole day paying a fixed price for the shoot.
Initial Contact
From the moment you make that initial enquiry contact with me, right up until you have your stunning Professional Wedding Album in your possession, you will receive one-to-one communication directly with me. Nothing is sub-contracted, or left to others.
Meeting face to face
I always personally meet the Bride and Groom prior to the big day – in fact usually twice or more. At our first meeting I will find out what kind of Photography ideas you had in mind for your special day, timings, locations, what kind of photographic albums you may have in mind, and I will offer you some advice on some great ideas and experiences that I have that I think may work for you and your day. It’s also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other a little better than just talking on the phone.
The Recce
I always personally carry out a recce of the Ceremony and Reception Venue’s – Guaranteed. Usually the Bride and Groom will invite me to go with them to a 'Rehearsal' at the Church/Ceremony, or to accompany them if they have to attend the venue for some other reason. Even if this is not possible, I will personally attend the venues on my own. Nothing is left to chance when it comes to planning and preparing for your day.
The Shoot
When you commission me to photograph your special day, you will be booking me for the whole day. I don’t offer 'part days' or 'Just the Ceremony' in attempts to cut the cost, and I don’t force you into purchasing a 'Package' from me that may not contain 100% of what you wanted. You pay a straight fee for the whole day shoot. This takes the worry away from clients trying to balance their budgets. There is no need for them to decide how much of the day they should consider cutting out of the Photography in an attempt to save costs.
I never cover any more than one wedding per day. This enables me to focus 100% of my attention and activity on your day, and your day alone. I can then make sure that I am capturing those special moments for you, your family, and your friends, to remember forever.
The Full DVD
Quite simply, this is a DVD containing all the Photographs shot on the day – the lot – possibly up to 800 in some cases. You can re-print your own copies to your heart’s content completely copyright free. You could also share your Photographs online with your friends and family if you wish. You could produce your own 'coffee table' album, thank you cards, canvas, whatever you fancy, straight from your own computer. Or just download and enjoy on your own screen. The possibilities are limitless with your own disk of your own shoot. It’s a no-brainer really! – that’s why everyone buys it.
The Preview Book
Feedback from clients is that this was a must have service. Following the shoot, I will get to work on processing what I think are the 'best of the bunch' of all the Photographs from the whole shoot. Following some initial editing, re-touching, cropping, removing unwanted objects perhaps, sharpening, etc, I will then produce a 'Preview Book' of the best 150 (approx.) Photographs of the day.
This will be produced in a story book fashion to enable you to start to visualise the structure of how you might want your album to look. Remember though, if you choose the Full DVD also, you can view this in tandem alongside the Preview Book and carefully consider all the Photographs with the benefit of a 'Professional Cut' to assist you. This is a seriously helpful service which has never disappointed a client that has purchased it.
The Album
There are hundreds to choose from. I don’t force you to accept the one that comes with the particular 'Package' you are forced to accept with most others. I don’t do 'Packages'. You have complete flexibility all the way through to choosing the album. Like many things in life, you get what you pay for, and the same is so for Wedding Albums. I generally advise couples to budget at least £400.00 for a professional quality Album, but you can spend a lot more if choosing one of the highest quality albums available. If your budget allows you to stretch that far, they are worth every penny.
These days, digital 'coffee table' book styles are becoming very popular, and there are some truly awesome Albums out there to consider. Of course the classic 'Leaf and Overlay' Albums just get better and better – not old fashioned at all – just timeless, classic and almost indestructible quality. There is even one Company that mixes both 'Styles' of Album into one, very well indeed. We will need to discuss Albums on a one-to-one, but there is plenty of time for that. You can even leave it until after the big day if you cannot decide in advance.
Portraits
Portraits are usually done on site at your home or favourite location. Portable, professional lighting, reflectors, backdrops, etc. are used to produce a stunning portrait of your choice. Call me for some further idea’s and have a look at the Portraits tab for some examples if you wish.
